A Day of Fun at the Playhouse
A very special event for area school kids was held at the Playhouse and on the Green this past Sunday, June 10. Playdate at the Playhouse is a culmination of WPTC's Early Stages. This unique arts education program gives Elementary school students the opportunity to work directly with professional artists and experience for themselves the power of creating their own theatrical performance from a work of children's literature or theatre.
This year, the Company brought teaching artist Tesha Buss to Weston to work with students from four local elementary schools. The students worked with Buss to present two performances featuring an assortment of skits and songs from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
Weston's Young Company also performed selections from their production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, to the delight of children and adults alike.
Tickets to You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown can be purchased online or by calling the box office at 802.824.5288.
