This Week At VTica: Jeanne Carbonetti's The Power of Beauty, Father's Day Three-Part Poetry Series

posted Thursday, June 14, 2012

This is the final week of Jeanne Carbonetti's The Power of Beauty exhibit. Please do not miss the opportunity to view this vibrant and moving collection.

Sunday June 17th, Father's Day, at 4pm the Vermont Institute of Contemporary Arts will host the third of a three-part poetry series lead by John Hadden, the Artistic Director of Hubbard Hall.

Join John as he adds his dramatic flair to the classic prosaic book, "Just So Stories," by the great British author, Rudyard Kipling. John brings his unique insight to this fantastic musical collection, intriguing the seasoned poetry enthusiast, as well as adding clarity to the Kipling novice. John will include "How the Leopard Got His Spots," "The Elephant's Child," "The Sing-Song of Old Man Kangaroo" and maybe one or two more.

Invite your dad to a conversation with John and Rudyard Kipling. What better way to honor the important men in our lives?

A $10 donation is suggested.
