The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce Announces the Best of Vermont Summer Festival Music Lineup

The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the music lineup for upcoming Best of Vermont Summer Festival, on Saturday, August 28 & Sunday, August 29, 2021 (rain or shine), at the Okemo Field on Route 103 in Ludlow, Vermont. This festival will be a great late-summer gathering for locals, new residents, second homeowners, and visitors to experience the very best of Vermont: beer, wine, spirits, specialty foods, artisan products, children's activities and more - including hot air balloons!

Each day will feature live music including our HEADLINERS:

Saturday 8/28 from 12-7 pm:

• 12-2 pm Eric King Band
• 2-4 pm Jeb Porter & Friends
• 4-7 pm - Christine Malcolm & the SUGARLEAF BAND

Sunday 8/29 from 10am - 4 pm:

• 10 am -12:30 pm Ida Mae & the Terrible Mountain String Band (Barn Dance!)
• 1-4 pm Jenni Johnson & the JAZZ JUNKETEERS

The event is being held on Okemo Field, a highly visible location on Route 103 at Bixby Road in Ludlow. (Directions at bit.ly/OkemoField) Festival hours are 12 - 7 pm on Saturday and 10 am - 4 pm on Sunday. Admission will be by a suggested $2 donation (benefitting ag, farm & Taste of Okemo Valley programming) and a crowd of several thousand is anticipated. Planning for this event started in 2019 but was derailed by the pandemic, but the cancellation of other regional festivals in south central Vermont this summer left a void that Okemo Valley is thrilled to step up and fill.

Some vendor spots may still available. Vendor site location within the festival is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees depend on booth size, location, needs, and Chamber membership.
