St. Luke's Invites You To A Traditional Seder Meal April 12

posted Friday, March 24, 2017

St. Luke's Church invites you to participate in a traditional Seder Meal on Wednesday, April 12 in Willard Hall, at 313 Main Street, in Chester, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

St. Luke's began holding Seders in 2006, as a way of acknowledging our common Jewish biblical roots. The Seder is a ritual meal that celebrates the Jewish festival of Passover.

As we celebrate the Seder at St. Luke's, we are mindful and respect the religious significance of the Seder to our Jewish brothers and sisters and have strived to include some of them in the planning and executing of the meal. The Seder is a family-centered affair and children have a significant part to play. It is rich in tradition and a time for joy, good eating, singing and celebrating God's redemption of us all. We hope you will come join us and invite your friends and neighbors.

A freewill offering will benefit Kids4Peace. Please make a reservation by calling the Watters at 875-2114. Details can be found at www.stlukesepiscopalvt.org/special-events.
