BRAT RiverSweep Cleanup Events

It's time to think "RiverSweep"!

The Black River Action Team celebrates their 15th birthday this year, and is growing by leaps and bounds.

This year, BRAT will be holding two separate RiverSweep cleanup events:

* Saturday, September 12th will be the Springfield Sweep, meeting at 8AM at the Springfield Shopping Plaza on the Chester Road.

* Saturday, September 19th will be the Ludlow Sweep, meeting at 8AM at the gazebo on the town green in Veterans Park, by Fletcher Memorial Library.

Come to one, or come to both! Sign in, pick a site to clean, grab the provided work-gloves and trash bags, and head out. Bring your treasures back to the "HQ" table to be tallied and photographed, then select a piece of junk to play in the "Junk Jam". Wash up and enjoy a free lunch, courtesy of various local businesses, and collect your complimentary BRAT tee shirt.

Lunch in Springfield is provided by Young's Furniture & Appliance, and in Ludlow by Goodman's American Pie.
