Local Families, Organizations, and Businesses Support Upcoming Fairy Festival
The staff at The Nature Museum at Grafton is warmed by community support and excitement for the upcoming Sixth Annual Fairy House Tour on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Local individuals, families, schools, libraries, and businesses are collecting pine cones, acorn caps, feathers, moss, and more to create charming fairy houses. Visitors to the Fairy House Tour will delight in these structures as they walk along a forest path, and then return to The Nature Museum to create their own fairy dwellings in the gardens. Tour-goers will enjoy face painting by Mona Frye, interactive fairy activities and crafts, and light refreshments for purchase by the Grafton Elementary School PTG, The Grafton Inn, and The Nature Museum. Visitors are welcome to pack their own picnic.
Advance tickets can be purchased at www.nature-museum.org, or by calling (802) 843-2111, and will be for sale through Friday, September 26th. Advance tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $4 for children ages 3-18. Tickets will also be available at the fairy gate ($12 adults, $10 seniors, $5 children). Children 2 and under attend for free. The Nature Museum is located at 186 Townshend Road in Grafton, Vermont. Bring your fairy spirit to this charming event; visitors are encouraged to dress up and delight in the adventure.
