Saturday Night at the Movies at St. Luke's Featuring "Molokai"

posted Thursday, August 11, 2016

St. Luke's Episcopal Church at 313 Main Street in Chester invites you to join us on Saturday, August 20th at 7:00 p.m. in Willard Hall for the first of what we hope will become a monthly series of movies.

We will be viewing a DVD movie entitled, "Molokai" by Paul Cox, about the work of Father Damien among lepers in Hawaii on the remote island of Molokai from 1873 until 1889.

Due to the gravity of this particular movie, children may not enjoy this. However, we do offer a room for them to come and bring their toys, books or games as well as look at the many children's books we have.

Refreshments and beverages will be served. Do come join us and invite your friends and neighbors. Details on special events at www.stlukesepiscopalvt.org.
